The software utilises
cutting-edge compression techniques to squeeze your images into the smallest possible
Image Archive file. Typically speaking, high quality JPEG images from a digital
camera may be compressed to as little as half or a third of their original
size
with no visual loss of quality whatsoever. TIFF images may typically be compressed
to between a 50th and an 80th of their original size, again with no visual loss
in quality. If quality is not paramount, compression ratios of 1:150 or even more
are easily attainable.
